But I'm not so sure her dumping pioneering before that meeting will work, it seems they will want to talk to her anyway. But I think wannabefree is spot on, they most likely want to encourage you and see if they can help.......just be careful........

The elders want to see me also
by MsGrowingGirl20 ini mentioned a few times, that in terms of making my time for the past few months have been really difficult.simply because i cant teach something i don't fully believe...so my service has gone down,i used to comment a lot--haven't done that in a while----meeting attendance like normal but now i don't stay back after...or come early...or help with cleaning..... .
so some weeks ago the cobo asked me a completely irrelevant and in no way helpful question---"you did't think that i notice how upset you look these days----that's not a fruitage of god's spirit!".
yeah so today he saw me and asked me a series of question....all which i gave really short answers to...long story short--he says that he would like for me to meet wih the rest of the elders after memorial........ .

GIRL20 ......don't fret.....but please, please, please lie your ass off...
They have seen a change in you. Either way I think they want to get to bottom of it and want to see if you're sinning, or need encouragement, or school, etc. it may be the marking thing.....
Just say you're having a stomach issues and you may have an ulcer. I'm sure it will come around to college and a series of those questions. Say you're going to school for a better job and nothing more, you have to support yourself and help your family and you have to do what you have to do. If they ask you these questions..(1) Do you consider yourself to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses? (2) Do you believe that Watchtower is God's Organization? LIE BABY GIRL, don't think it will come out well if you don't. Say NOTHING ABOUT YOUR DOUBTS and leave it at that, you have enough on your plate without them bugging you about that, you can DA yourself later when you're ready, on your terms. I personally think DAing yourself is better then getting DF'd. It will do you well in the future.
I've been there, they will try to muscle you into what they want to hear.....don't do it..........just stick your story.......not feeling well (ulcer) and you're still going to college.....they wiil probley theaten you with marking...then again maybe not........just stay cool and stick to your story.....

No way, you sound like an excellent mom! Various life situations as well as those darn kids not coming with a hand book is not easy!
He is paying for his car and insurance and is a good kid.
Have a heart to heart, letting him know one day he's going to want a place of his own, money to date or marry and NOW is a good time for him to start thinking about these things. Let him know even if he doesn't take this job, he's going to have to start preparing for his future, again, NOW is the time to do it. He may have to try various things before he knows, he's still young. I didn't see mine start really maturing until around 24, they start reasoning a bit better.
But if at some point he's still not budging, you may have to put the screws to him, but gently, giving him certain time line goals. He's still young and not thinking about the future (what feels good now is working fine so far). You can also tell him at some point he's going to have to start paying you rent like a responible young adult or move out if he's not going to go to school. Believe me, tuff love does work I can guarentee it.

hi DN........Shirly, Gayle and TAI are correct. That may have even embarrassed him You need to apologize to your son as well.
I have a feeling your son is afraid of a new path as well as big responsibility. But ask him what his real fears are, let him open up and tell you, he may be using his boss as an excuse, then again maybe not. After he tells you explain how this would be a great oppertunity and you'll be there to support him no matter what happens. Even if he loses this job, he can always get another. But if he's still scared or doesn't even want this path you need to let him choose. If he doesn't end up going, you can encourage him to go to some sort of tech school or do something he's always wanted. If you have been babying him all this time, it's not his fault he's scared for worried, but at the same time any grown adult is worried and scared when going to a new job as well as new location.

Rutherfords view of the Holy Spirit
by Christ Alone indoes anyone have scans of these references?
this comment was taken from http://ed5015.tripod.com/jwoccultconnection58.htm.
joseph rutherford, the second president of the wts, believed his spiritual enlightenment came from angels because the holy spirit had ceased functioning since 1918. the angels channeled information into his mind from god residing on the star alcyone.

had to throw this in for good measure:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Development_of_Jehovah's_Witnesses_doctrine
NOTE: "Society lawyer Hayden G. Covington told the court that although the Society had for decades published a "false prophecy ... a false statement" about the date of Christ's Second Coming, members of the religion had been required to accept it and any who had rejected it would have been expelled. He explained: "You must understand we must have unity, we cannot have disunity with a lot of people going every way." [ 272 ]

A comment from that Blog. I guess Maribel didn't read CoC or Hayden Covingtons courtroom statement:
"This is just ONE of the reasons I am convinced I belong to God's visible earthly organization. It is the humility of changing or correcting beliefs when Bible truths are made more clear. Other organizations are afraid of changing unscriptual doctrines even when THEY KNOW it's wrong, for fear of loosing their members. There is no such fear in an organization whos goal is to serve God on his terms and have HIS APPROVAL.
Thank you for your wonderful blog, may Jah bless you!!!! Maribel.

Oh poo....he won't post my comment, that's an old blog from 2009 his last post was 2010.
I'm wondering if this person ended up getting a lot of slack from opposers which in turn shocked him to see the real truth about the truth as got scared of his new light.
I did end up telling him that many got Disfellowship for questioning certain WTS dogma, which in turn the later sheded their new light on. So what about all those families who where torn apart by the WTS mistakes?
One thing I'm obsessed about lately is JWN and the awesome backed up info I find here.

WHAT A LIER!
I NEVER try to turn my JW family away from the WTS! Unless I'm asked, then I'll speak out. I've also told them I don't have an issue with them being a JW, it's the WTS that has an issue with me.
If we really were obsessed as he states, we'd be out on the doorsteps and street corners as well as handing out apostate material.
It's a ploy to combat opposers on the net, I'm sure we'll beging to see more of these types of blogs since the WTS is taking to the super highway.
FYI, I posted a comment on his blog I doubt he'll publish it

The one outstanding character/feature I find with most JW's on those sites is a viciousness cocky nature without backup when combating opposers, and they always sound so angrey and stupid. TRUE.
